About
Personal Ground Control (PGC) is a multiphased project designed to put you in full control of the rocket launch experience. What sets PGC apart is its pioneering features: a launchpad compass and a real-time sound delay timer that predicts exactly when you’ll hear the rocket. We also plan to implement augmented reality enhancements that display rocket trajectories along with color-coded phase indicators for key events like booster separation. Additionally, a pan/tilt phone cradle is under development to automatically track the rocket, freeing you from staring at your screen to capture the perfect video. With PGC, the launch is yours to enoy—the app handles the technical details so you can stay present in the moment.
Beta Test the PGC App
Access the live beta of PGC at pgc.fossfo.org. Please keep in mind that not all features are fully implemented yet. After you explore the app, please leave your feedback.
Free & Open Source
PGC is free and open source, and you can view the source on Github. You can make suggestions, contribute, or even fork a copy of PGC.
